Stage
The stage is where rhythm becomes memory. Xia Qian Yu was founded in April 2022 at Central South University, shaped by indie rock, math rock, Britpop, blues, and soul.
Role
Vocalist, stage performer, and occasional storyteller between songs.
Sound
Math-rock edges, pop-rock hooks, Britpop texture, blues and soul warmth.
Band
Daqian Wan on bass and backing vocals, Yu Chen on guitar, Chunqiu Xia on drums.
I have joined singing competitions, music festivals, bar performances, and campus stages. Music is not a side note; it is another way to practice timing, presence, and listening.

Tokyo, Hawaii, Dublin, London. Different cities change the pace of attention: street scale, weather, color, and the kind of silence between destinations.

Friends
The best parts of a long path are rarely solitary. These are the people who make hard seasons lighter and ordinary days worth keeping.

Photography is a quiet habit: walking through Central South University with a camera, looking for charm in the things that usually pass too quickly.
It is not the lack of beauty in life, but the lack of the eyes to find it.
